This Award Winning Puer won the Gold Medal at the 2011 Yunnan Government Puer Competition in both categories of Best Fermented Puer and Best Raw Puers. It is hand-picked by Grandma Yang of the Yi tribe in Yunnan. The tea leaves are from ancient, certified organic tea trees on a sustainable tea plantation on Wuliang Mountain. When pressed into a special chocolate bar shape they use a special fragrant wood using only the pressure of their hands to press it giving it a truly unique flavor.

Fermented Puer Tea ( Ripe Puer)
Wuliang Mountain, Yunnan, China.
This is a superior tea, clean, strong, sharp, clears the mind.
This is my favourite tea in the world. The colours, fragrance taste, and how it evolves and takes you on a journey during a tea ceremony is really a magical experience I would recommend. I also love that I know where my tea comes from and that I'm supporting true tea artisans.
This is, bar none, the best puer tea I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried many! Complex flavor, a feeling of being right there in the tea forest when I drink it. My only warning is, the tea qi is very powerful, make sure you don’t make it too strong, or drink too much….
This pu'er was rich, smooth and held up to many (at least 18) steeping! The flavor chenged with each steep and is our go-to tea for all-day session drinking. We are curious to see what a bit of aging will do to it. Buy, 2, you will not regret it.
I am a puer tea maven, and this is the best puer that money can buy, at a reasonable price! Great complex flavor, clean taste, fine aroma, and literally great qi!
